Overview:

How does policy shape tech in China, and how can businesses plan for it?

The policy environment is changing fast as we approach 2021, creating both risks and opportunities. A new five-year plan will anoint newly-favored industries, driving subsidies, state support, and markets. Meanwhile, Beijing continues to develop a system of regulations for cybersecurity, data privacy, and data localization that presents a mounting compliance challenge for companies doing business in China.

To understand the challenges and opportunities in the year ahead, TechNode and the China Business Circles will present a seminar on "Business Landscape 2021: Tech, policy, and upcoming trends", how China's tech majors identify and align with emerging policy trends and with the new 'buzz-term' the Dual Circulation System, how it may affect your China operations.
